About Your Test And Treatment

  • Please bring your insurance card to your appointment. We will bill your medical insurance for the testing and evaluation services as well as your prescription insurance for any treatment. Copays and deductibles may apply. We do not bill insurance for PCR tests but you may submit the receipt to your insurance to attempt reimbursement. However, most insurances will not cover the costs of travel related COVID-19 testing.

  •  All tests are performed in your vehicle to minimize exposure to staff.  Flu, RSV and Covid tests are performed using a nasal swab.  The swab is only inserted an inch or less and is very comfortable. No brain tickling with these tests! Strep throat tests are throat swabs (naturally!). We may also take blood pressure, heart rate, and pulse oximetry as part of the evaluation.

  • We will call you after your results are ready, usually within 30 minutes  to discuss the results and possible treatment options. You will also receive a text message and/or email of your results. You may also pickup the relevant results paperwork and medication via our drive-thru window or have them delivered right to your door.

Find out if you have Strep Throat with a single swab and get treated.

Strep throat is an infection caused by bacteria called Group A Streptococcus. Strep throat can occur at any age but is most frequent among school-aged children.

Symptoms start 1 to 5 days after an exposure and include fever, sore throat and tender and swollen neck glands.

It is difficult to tell whether a sore throat is caused by a virus or Group A Streptococcus. Throat cultures or rapid diagnostic tests are used to diagnose “Strep Throat” which should be treated with antibiotics.

Strep throat is more common in children than adults and includes common symptoms such as:

  • Sore throat

  • Pain when swallowing

  • Fever

  • Red and swollen tonsils*

    • *If tonsils have been removed, you can still contract strep throat and would experience the same symptoms.
