Dr. Justin Otting and his wife Jennifer Otting moved to McKinleyville with their 6 children in 2014 after he graduated from The University of Colorado PharmD program. They were done living in large cities and look forward to being an integral part of the community. They are very excited for the opportunity to expand care for McKinleyville and are ready to meet your needs!

Janet Tan, RPh
Janet was born and grew up in Manila, Philippines and moved to California in 2005. She moved to Humboldt in 2006 and has been a pharmacist for 18 years. She loves helping her patients and being an integral part of their care team along with the physician, and knowing she is making a difference in the community. Janet’s hobbies include playing the guitar, singing, watching TV, and church activities. Her favorite food is Adobo – a popular Filipino dish!
Dr. Belinda Schumacher
Belinda was born in Monterey and moved to Humboldt 2 years ago. She has been a
pharmacist for 23 years, loves helping patients and she is committed to making her
knowledge of pharmacy accessible to our community! Belinda loves to read, walking
her dog, horseback riding, and she loves Mexican food!
Nicole
Nicole was born in Fresno and moved to Humboldt 2.5 years ago. She has worked in pharmacy for 7 years and her favorite part of the job is helping customers have a better day. Nicole loves being at work, loves her coworkers, and loves cracking jokes! Her hobbies include exercising and watching movies. Nicoles favorite food is tacos!
Kristin
Kristin was born and raised in Humboldt and has worked in pharmacy since 1996! She
loves working at independent pharmacies and worked at Lima’s for 25 years before
coming to Redwood. Kristin has a passion for helping people and is dedicated to her
part in creating a healthier community. Kristin loves working in her garden and Mexican
food!
Tanis
Tanis was born in Colorado and moved to Humboldt in 2014 with his family. He loves living in Humboldt and is happiest when he is hiking the redwood forest and foraging for mushrooms. Tanis recently became a pharmacy tech at Redwood and loves engaging with customers and hearing their life stories. He is currently studying at CR and plans to attend Cal Poly next fall to pursue a career in fine arts. Tanis’s favorite food is curry!
Carley
Carley was born and raised in Humboldt and has been happily married to her husband Nelson for 18 years. She has a daughter who she loves shopping and thrifting with. Carley recently became a technician at Redwood and refuses to ever take a day off! She loves cats, cheering on the SF Giants, and tacos. You can probably find her singing karaoke at the Moose Lodge!
LeighAnne
LeighAnne was born in South Carolina and has lived in Humboldt for 13 years. She has
worked at Redwood for 1.5 years and is currently studying to become a pharmacy
technician. LeighAnne has 4 kids and loves cooking, watching movies, doing arts and
crafts, and going to the beach with her family. Her favorite food is tacos!
Brittany
Brittany is a pharmacy technician at Redwood and her favorite thing about working with us is that we offer extra attention and care to our patients and says that quality care is paramount to volume. On her time off, she likes to cross stitch, play with her dog, and collect rocks and figurines. Brittany is from Eureka and has been a tech for 2 years. She loves eggs benedict, the movie Surf Ninjas and says the most impactful album is Cold Blood.
Moriah
Moriah is a clerk at Redwood and is a recent graduate of Cal Poly Humboldt, majoring in fine arts. She loves being able to interact with community members at work. Moriah loves to read, make custom playlists, and create ceramics. Moriah has lived in McKinleyville since 2021; originating from L.A. She loves Japanese curry and her favorite movie is Howl’s Moving Castle by Studio Ghibli.
Garrett
Garrett is a clerk here at Redwood and says his favorite part of work is that we maintain a family type of atmosphere. He also appreciates taking part in the care of our community and plans to become a technician this year. On his days off, Garrett likes listening to music, thrifting, and gardening. Garrett has lived in Humboldt for 6 months and is originally from Santa Cruz. His favorite food is sushi and he loves actions films.
Aaron
Aaron is a clerk at the pharmacy (his first job!) and is a McKinleyville native. Aaron says he likes working for a small, locally owned company. Aaron hobbies include playing the guitar, playing with his dogs, and art. He plans to travel Europe after graduating high school in the spring. Aaron’s favorite food is pizza, and his favorite show is Adventure Time.
Johnny B.
Johnny B. has been Redwood’s delivery driver from day one. If you get your medications delivered, you know that he is quite a character! He loves building relationships with our customers and handing out dog treats! In his spare time, he loves to watch football and play the guitar. Johnny is from Maine, although he lived in the Virgin Islands for 20 years and worked as a chef. His favorite food is ice cream, and his favorite type of music is the blues.
